Who doesn’t love a cream cheese ball loaded with bacon, cheddar, ranch seasoning, and green onion? Serve with crackers for a perfect holiday appetizer!
Growing up, our family would eat holiday dinners around 3 p.m. To hold us over until dinnertime, we would put out appetizers to snack on. My mom’s favorite appetizer was always a green onion cheese ball from our local grocery store.
One fateful year, the grocery store was all sold out of the green onion cheese ball. Christmas was all but ruined! To save the day, I was sure I could make it at home. Plus, I was sure I could make it just as well if not better than the store-bought one. Not to brag, but that’s just what I did.
Over the years, this recipe for the Bacon Cheddar Ranch Cheese Ball has become a family favorite. It’s great for entertaining or parties. Even better, it only requires 6 ingredients and only takes 10 minutes to make. I warn you though, it is addicting!
This cheese ball is one of those recipes that’s so easy it doesn’t really need a recipe. But that doesn’t stop my family from asking for it every year. So, Fam, this one is for you!
To make easy Apple Dumplings roll apples in buttery crescent rolls, smother, and bake in a sauce made from butter, sugar, cinnamon and citrus-flavored soda.
Using store-bought crescent dough might be my new favorite way to make quick and easy desserts! It’s probably why they sell out quickly at my grocery store around this time of year. So many other smart people have the same idea! Even though I’m late to the party, it’s truly a game changer.
Last year, I discovered a recipe using crescent roll dough to make apple dumplings. Let’s just say, I made crescent roll apple dumplings 3 TIMES during the last holiday season. That’s seems like a lot when there are so many desserts I want to try. Even better, my family and friends loved these apple dumplings too! After I took the blog photos, my brother was all too happy to take these home with him.
Preparation is so simple, and once they bake, the tops are crusty, the bottoms are gooey, and inside, the apples are the perfect texture. To make them even better serve them with ice cream or whipped cream topping. It’s like eating your own personal apple pie.

In 1/2 cup of cottage cheese, there is about 80-100 calories and 14 grams of protein! It’s a filling and satisfying snack for not a lot of calories. Plus, it’s not expensive.
For as long as I can remember, my family loves eating cottage cheese and crackers as a snack or a full meal. My brother especially loves cottage cheese and crackers, and I think he could subsist solely on them if he had to.

Perfect homemade air-fryer french fries are a healthier alternative to the deep fried version, yet they still have crunchy exteriors and soft interiors.
Time after time, I see questions asking how to make homemade french fries well. Thankfully, the folks at America’s Test Kitchen, have perfected the technique. My post and recipe is adapted from their method for Air Fryer French Fries.
While these french fries do take more time and prep, they are some of the best homemade fries I’ve tried (and I’ve tested a LOT)! The outside of the fries are crunchy and golden, but the inside of the fries are soft and tender.
Additionally, they are a healthier alternative to deep frying. Which means you can have them more often, right?
Air frying pineapple spears glazed in a buttery brown sugar and cinnamon coating results in caramelized Air Fryer “Grilled” Pineapple without the grill!
Ever been to a restaurant where they make grilled pineapple? If you haven’t, it is so DANG good! Thankfully, it’s just as easy to do at home! Plus, it’s way less expensive to make it at home.
I should preface this post by saying this is not true “grilled” pineapple since it’s cooked with an air fryer. Although, that’s the beauty of this recipe. No grill is required! However, if you don’t have an air fryer, I provide grilling instructions too.
Another great thing about this recipe is it only requires 4 ingredients! I don’t know about you, but I’m all for recipes with few ingredients.
When pineapple grills, the sugars caramelize and the sweet flavors intensify. Plus, I find cooking in an air fryer keeps the pineapple juicy. This is such a yummy air fryer dessert or snack!

Make sweet, refreshing, and delicious Pineapple Water (or Agua de Pina) at home by simply blending fresh pineapple with water and sweetening with sugar.
Agua de Pina is the Spanish name for Pineapple Water. It was introduced to me by a family member who orders it whenever she goes to her favorite Mexican restaurant. She asked if I could figure out how to make it, and I am happy to oblige!
Another name for pineapple water is Pineapple Agua Fresca (when translated means “fresh water”). Generally, agua fresca is made by combining fruits, grains, or flowers with sugar and water. As the name suggests, pineapple agua fresca is made by blending pineapple with sugar and water.
