Ooey gooey, soft and buttery, cinnamon sweet Slow Cooker Monkey Bread from scratch is a great make ahead breakfast for the weekends or special holidays!
Why is cinnamon sugar so delicious? When it comes to some of my favorite breakfasts, many have that yummy flavor combo. One of my favorites is this Slow Cooker Monkey Bread made from scratch.
To make it, roll light and fluffy pieces of dough in melted butter and cinnamon sugar. Then, the layer the pieces in a slow cooker and bake. After it’s cooked, top it with homemade cream cheese frosting! Yum!
Chocolate and peanut butter dipped pretzels are a yummy sweet and salty treat, snack, or gift! The peanut butter keeps the coating smooth for easy dipping!
Back before I was married and my (now) husband and I were still dating, we didn’t see his in-laws very much. That didn’t stop me from wanting to make a good impression with them. (Can you relate?!)
So, one of the first things I learned about my mother-in-law is she LOVES the peanut butter filled pretzels. So, in an effort to make a good impression, I made her these Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzels!
The first time I made them for her it was near Christmas. So, I made some with and without candy cane bits. Ever since, I’ve make these for her every Christmas. To be honest, I’m not even sure if she likes the ones with candy canes or not, but she never complains. And, even though the combo seems strange, I think they taste yummy.
Make a decadent, rich, and creamy orange chocolate mousse in less than 10 minutes that’s low-carb and uses no egg! Satisfy your chocolate craving any time!
According to Forbes, the average American eats 9.5 lbs of chocolate per year! I don’t know about you, but when I heard this statistic, I was sure it was a mistake. I mean, I probably eat a pound a month! 😉 So, what’s a chocolate-lover to do when she wants chocolate right now? She makes Orange Chocolate Mousse.
Thankfully, this Orange Chocolate Mousse can be whipped up in about 10 minutes! It can be eaten right away or chilled for future cravings. Plus, it’s also refined sugar-free, low-carb, egg-free, and single-serving. Although make no mistake, this is still an indulgent chocolate dessert with a hint of orange.
A quick and easy Grilled Monte Cristo Sandwich with ham, turkey, Swiss slices, and a Parmesan Dijon-mayo spread. Serve with a side of raspberry preserves.
Sometimes, you want all the flavors of a classic Monte Cristo Sandwich with Jam, but you don’t want all the steps. I have a solution for you! Instead of dipping the sandwich in custard, just grill the sandwich in butter. It’s much easier and faster to prepare than the original.
Even though this sandwich is not fried in batter, don’t worry! This Grilled Monte Cristo Sandwich is still sweet, salty, cheesy, and buttery. Every bite is full of flavor. This sandwich is the perfect indulgence for when you’re craving something warm and comforting.

Is it strange to say my life was changed at the grocery store? Well, it was.
One day, I stopped at Harmons (a grocery store in Utah) to pick up some groceries. They had samples of enormous pumpkin cookies, but with butterscotch chips instead of chocolate chips. What?! Plus, they had some of the cookies topped with cream cheese frosting. OMG! After trying a sample, I was hooked. Why had I never made pumpkin cookies with butterscotch chips before?
Ever popular, Carino’s Chicken Bowtie Festival is a flavorful and easy pasta dish made with sauteed chicken, bacon, and a creamy, cheesy tomato sauce.
Whenever I think of Italian food, my brain automatically goes to pasta. Without a doubt, it’s my favorite kind of Italian food. One of my favorite Italian pasta dishes comes from Johnny Carino’s Italian Restaurant, and it’s called Grilled Chicken Bowtie Festival.
Who doesn’t love a cream cheese ball loaded with bacon, cheddar, ranch seasoning, and green onion? Serve with crackers for a perfect holiday appetizer!
Growing up, our family would eat holiday dinners around 3 p.m. To hold us over until dinnertime, we would put out appetizers to snack on. My mom’s favorite appetizer was always a green onion cheese ball from our local grocery store.
