A tried and true recipe for Brown Sugar Maple Oatmeal ready in 15 minutes on the stovetop. These sweet chewy oat grains are way better than store-bought!

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Quick Cooking Oats
  • 2 tbsp Pure Maple Syrup Divided
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Table Salt

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium-heat, bring milk, 1 tablespoon maple syrup, and salt to a simmer.
  • Stir in rolled oats and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened (about 2-3 minutes).
  • Add oatmeal to a serving bowl and allow to rest for 2-3 minutes.
  • Top oatmeal with remaining 1 tablespoon maple syrup and brown sugar. Serve!
